The following are the suggested stipends for those who provide their services at funeral Masses. If you are in financial difficulty, please discuss this with the priest.

Vigil Prayers – Presider (Deacon or Priest) - $50 (Check made out to minister)
Funeral Mass – Presider (Priest) - $50 – 100 (Check made out to minister)
Church Offering - $50 (covers building utilities, cleaning, etc.) (Check made out to St. George)
Organist - $150 – 200 (the higher amount is required if organist has to practice with guest singer) (Check made out to minister)
Cantor - $50 (if organist provides the singing, this amount is not necessary) (Check made out to minister)

Cost - $125, if available

• The parish requires a parish representative to be present at all functions, even if catered.
• The family is expected to set up and take down chairs and tables.
• The family is expected to provide all paper products, utensils, food, etc.
• Hall use only includes the main hall, kitchen and bathrooms.  All other rooms, including the stage area is considered off-limits.
• Kitchen fryers may not be used. Ovens should be used only to warm already prepared food.)
• Caterers should provide ALL the equipment they expect to use, including coffee pots, serving dishes, trays, pans, etc; as well as their own beverages, beverage supplies and condiments.
