May, the month in which the earth springs into bloom and we start thinking about planting gardens, family picnics and making vacation plans. But May is also the Month of Mary in which we, her children in Christ, honor her as we also honor our mothers on Mother’s Day. St. George parish will be hosting the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, May 20. Time: To be Decided. We will hold a Holy Hour with Exposition and Benediction this day and a Procession of the sacred image of Our Lady to Mary’s Garden from the Church. This image is an exact replica of the original image of Our Lady which she left on St. Juan Diego’s Wilma. The image was among the four blessed at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico by the Rector of the Basilica, Msgr. Monroy to bring conversions, reverence for life, sanctity of the family and solidarity of the Church in America. The Missionary Images have been associated with many miracles and healings.
All are welcome to join us for prayers, veneration, and procession.
