St. Francis Xavier Mission Chapel will open for the Summer after Memorial Day, beginning on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 on St. George island. The 7:00 PM Mass will be held from June 1st to August 31st, 2024 (Labor Day weekend).

The March QOV Sew-In and Organizational Meeting for the Pax Sound of Freedom Chapter of quilters will resume on March 11th. The time and location remains the same, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the Community Center. If you are interested in volunteering, please join us.

Please stop by our “Vocation Tree” in the church vestibule, where you’ll see cards for each of the seminarians of The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington. Choose one or more cards and pray for that seminarian each day during Lent. Make it a beautiful offering to the Lord this Lent to pray for those whom He calls to give their lives in service of His Church in our archdiocese.

The first sessions will be this Sunday, January 22 and 29 after the 10:30 Mass in the church. Thereafter, the practices will be held the last Sunday of the month. The children will sing at the monthly Children’s Liturgy beginning in February.

The February QOV Sew-In and Organizational Meeting for the Pax Sound of Freedom quilters group has been moved up one week earlier to February 4th. The time and location remains the same, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the Community Center. If you are interested in volunteering, please join us.
